BACKGROUND

My name is Diego Javier Lupiañez, 

I was born in Córdoba, Argentina, but I have been living in Barcelona for Seventeen years. I am married and have a ten-year-old daughter. In the world of Padel Sports, people call me “Fire.”

I have always believed that languages allow us to open ourselves to the world. I can speak and teach in three languages.

As someone who has experienced all aspects of this sport, I have developed my own methods of teaching. Starting as a child player, progressing through the ranks as a student, and eventually becoming a professional player has provided me with valuable insights into effective teaching techniques.

My teaching methods are informed by my personal journey and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. I believe in tailoring my approach to each individual student, whether they are children or adults, to help them reach their full potential in the sport.

My methods emphasize the importance of fundamentals, technique, strategy, and mental preparation. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can develop their skills and passion for the game. Through personalized instruction, feedback, and guidance, I strive to empower my students to achieve success on and off the court.

– Started playing in 1989.

– Professional Player from 1993 to 1999.

– Teacher since 1993 to present.

– Teacher at Andrés Gimeno Tennis & Padel Club in Barcelona from 2008 to 2015.

– Teams Player in Catalunya 1st Category Competitions.

– Coach on the Professional Padel Circuit  “Padel Pro Tour´´ & “WPT´´  from 2011 to 2015.

– Founder of On Court Padel Academy  –  Coach & Director.

– Instructor of Padel Teacher Course levels 1 & 2.

Technical Director at The British Padel Coach Association.
